Seems like I’m constantly searching for two things these days: quality and meaning. be it friendships, jobs/career, trips, food, clothing…it applies to just about everything :)
naturally, my quest for quality and meaning has lead me to the creation of this post for the sake of guiding anyone that needs christmas gift ideas for a fellow critical thinker/beauty and fashion loving woman. everything listed below is something i’ve fallen in love with as it’s been read through/tried on/touched or tested. I only gravitate towards things that are worth every penny so take my word for it.

How to know a person by David Brooks: when i say everyone should be reading this book, i mean it. It’s a practical guide to the art of truly knowing another person in order to foster deeper connections at home, work, and throughout our lives. if you’re anything like me and want to understand why people behave the way they do (including ourselves)-this book will run you through many facts and topics of discussion that expand your existing knowledge of interpersonal relationships.
dries van noten leather wedge t-strap pumps: i recently fell for these dries heels at holt renfrew. They are the chicest and cutest dark brown pumps that belong in my closet however-my budget does not allow for it (LOL) but in good faith, i am sharing for anyone that is looking for the perfect pair of heels for their incredibly stylish girl/wife/mother. (currently on sale at holts!)
call it by your name bandana toiletry bag: one of my favorite brands from paris, call it by your name has the cutest accessories and bags made in their signature bandana prints. i regret not buying this small toiletry bag at le bon marche this year-it would last forever and it’s perfect for travel/beach/everyday use.
r13 brown balloon hoodie: i have a thing for r13 hoodies. the fit is just too good. it’s currently on sale at ssense and holt renfrew (in store). i am living in hoodies these days and it’s all i want to wear on a daily basis-either casually or dressed up. i recently found a very reasonably priced version at the gap in a vintage soft grey (currently sold out) but they have a lot more options if you do a quick search.
the attico extra-long slim-fit jean: this jean style is it. i want a straight leg that pools to the floor and scrunches up intentionally-the attico and saint laurent do it so well. i have yet to find a cheaper alternative but lets use this a guide for denim looks in 2025.
Frederic Malle rose & Cuir perfume: love me some frederic malle. his perfumes are just so beautiful, bold and sensual. rose & cuir is my favorite-it’s spicy, fresh, floral and sexy, what’s not to love.
other gift ideas in case you need more options:
⋆ Stainless steel moka pot: i love my trustee bialetti moka pot that has served me well for years however, i recently found out that it’s better to use a stainless steel version rather than your regular aluminum based pot. Alessi is also #1 for stainless steel moka pots.
⋆ Floriana leather gloves: beautiful leather gloves with silk lining handmade in italy. I tried these on in person and they are super nice and high quality.
⋆ Canyon coffee cup and saucer: An ode to the tradition of Italian café culture, the Canyon Cup & Saucer resonates with the feeling of sitting outside a lively café, enjoying your coffee while reading the paper or discussing daily topic. i just love canyon coffee.
